Printer is 'Ready' but won't print

If you get to the end of the BuildBee print setup process, select 'PRINT' and nothing happens, don't worry because it is easy to fix! A BuildBee CloudDock will display as 'READY' if it is connected to the Internet and connected to a 3D printer via the appropriate USB cable. This does not necessarily mean the printer is powered on.

If your printer does not move after selecting 'PRINT' and displays the 'ANALYSING MODEL' screen before reverting back to the print screen, please run through the following steps:

Step 1 - Make sure your 3D printer is turned on.

- Check that the power switch for your 3D printer is in the 'on' position. The 'READY' state simply means that your CloudDock is connected to the Internet.

Step 2 - Check your 3D printers power supply.

- Make sure the power supply is plugged into your 3D printer properly.
- If your 3D printers power supply has two halves that connect, make sure they are assembled correctly.
- Make sure the power supply is in good working order and is not damaged.
- If you suspect the power supply is the problem, try a power supply from another printer of the same kind if available.

Step 3 - Check the power socket

- Make sure the power socket is switched on. If using a power board with its own power switch, make sure that is turned on too.
- Make sure the power supply is properly plugged into the power socket.
- If using a power board or extension lead, make sure all relevant ports are working. (try a different power socket).

Step 4 - Contact support

- If your 3D printer still won't respond, please submit a support request.
