IT: Connecting to the Victoria EduSTAR wired network

There following things need to be done when connecting a BuildBee CloudDock to the EduSTAR wired network. For full instructions on configuring a BuildBee CloudDock, please refer to the Configuring your BuildBee CloudDock help article.

Step 1 - Whitelist BuildBee domains

- Check that the sites at test.buildbee.com and test.buildflow.online are whitelisted for the proxy.  Ideally these should be added to the globally authentication list.  The easiest way to whitelist the required domains is to add buildbee.com, *.buildbee.com, buildflow.online and *.buildflow.online to cover all subdomains. For more information, refer to our IT: Domains for whitelisting help article.

Step 2 - Configure your BuildBee CloudDocks

- When filling out the configuration details, choose the 'WIRED WITH PROXY' option.
- Fill out the proxy details for both HTTP and HTTPS traffic using proxy.education.netspace.net.au and port 8080 for both sets of fields.
Using the direct IP address has been found to be more successful than the fully qualified domain and may be an option if it is known.
