IT: iDET Queensland connection process

There following things need to be done when connecting a BuildBee CloudDock to the Queensland iDET network. For full instructions on configuring a BuildBee CloudDock, please refer to the Configuring your BuildBee CloudDock help article.

Step 1 - Whitelist BuildBee domains

- Whitelist the sites at test.buildbee.com and test.buildflow.online each year. For more info, see our IT: Domains for whitelisting.
- The easiest way to whitelist the required domains is to add buildbee.com, *.buildbee.com, buildflow.online and *.buildflow.online to cover all subdomains. Each school will need to request the websites to be whitelisted every 12 months.

Step 2 - Configure your BuildBee CloudDocks

- When filling out the configuration details, choose the 'ENTERPRISE WIFI WITH PROXY' option.
- The WiFi Network Name (SSID) is iDET.
- The proxy server in all EQ schools is proxy2.eq.edu.au
- When filling out the WiFi username section, the schools domain has to be in front of the user. e.g. gbn\user0
The domain may be different depending on the school. Generic usernames can be created by the school so it's possible to have a user called buildbee.1025 where 1025 is the school ID.
Here is an example configuration:
