Installing other OctoPrint plugins on a CloudDock
If you have decided to
disable the BuildBee UI, you will be able to use OctoPrint features that haven't made it to BuildBee yet, including the ability to install third party plugins.
Installing third party plugins may affect the performance of BuildBee. We recommend installing one at a time and testing each plugin before installing more plugins.
Step 1 - Disable the BuildBee UI
- Access the maintenance console for the CloudDock you want to change.
- Select 'SYSTEM INFO'.
- Select the 'DISABLE' button.
Step 2 - Open the OctoPrint plugin manager
- Access the CloudDock via its IP address.
You will be able to select the 'MAINTENANCE' button for that printer and delete ':5000' to access the OctoPrint interface.
- Select the settings icon from the top right corner of the OctoPrint interface.
- Choose 'Plugin manager' from the options on the left side of the pop up.
Step 3 - Select additional plugins to install
- Select the 'Get More...' button and search for the plugin you want to install in the pop up that appears.
- Select the 'Install' button for the plugin you want to install.
