How to disable the BuildBee user interface - BuildBee Support

How to disable the BuildBee user interface

You can disable the BuildBee user interface in the CloudDock maintenance console to access other features of OctoPrint that may soon be part of BuildBee, or you may just miss the OctoPrint interface!
If you think something is missing, let us know!

You will still be able to use BuildBee to send prints to your CloudDock, only the maintenance console user interface will change.

Step 1 - Access the CloudDock maintenance console

- Access your list of printers.
- Select the 'MAINTENANCE' button next to the printer you wish to change.

Step 2 - Disable the BuildBee UI

- Select 'SYSTEM INFO' in the maintenance console.
- The last option is 'Disable BuildBee UI', select the 'DISABLE' button.
- Read the warning and select 'I UNDERSTAND' if you wish to proceed.
- The page will reload as the OctoPrint interface.
This feature is not available for BuildBee Desktop

If it doesn't reload as OctoPrint, you may have to delete delete ':5000/#welcome' from the url to just leave the IP address of the CloudDock. This will be the only time you have to do this.

Step 3 - Re-enabling the BuildBee UI

- Access the CloudDock via its IP address.
You will be able to select the 'MAINTENANCE' button for that printer and delete ':5000' to access the OctoPrint interface.
- Select the 'Enable BuildBee UI' button in the top right corner of the screen.
- The page will reload as the BuildBee interface.
