Why can't I reach the printer Maintenance Page
The maintenance page is served by the BuildBee CloudDock directly and is not on the internet. This means your device must be on the same local network as the CloudDock to access it.
If you cannot access the maintenance page, you may see a loading page, or a page that say "this site can't be reached" (below).
Common reasons for this error are:
- Your device is connected to a different network to the CloudDock. - Connect your device to the same local network as CloudDock, contact your network admin for more information.
- For complex enterprise networks, your network administrator is restricting communication between sub-nets - Contact your network admin to resolve this.
- The CloudDock is not communicating with BuildBee and the IP address has changed. - Reboot the CloudDock.
If the maintenance link is trying to access IP addresses like:
- 169.254.xxx.xxx - The CloudDock may also be communicating over both Ethernet and WiFi and is not being given a DHCP lease. Contact your network admin to resolve this.
- 127.0.0.1 - The CloudDock requires a reboot and potentially the on board configuration is no longer valid and requires the CloudDock to be reconfigured using our online tools.
