Update your BuildBee CloudDock - BuildBee Support

Updating your BuildBee CloudDock

Most BuildBee updates happen automatically and will be available when you log in or refresh your page. However, larger updates to the BuildBee CloudDock device must be manually triggered.

Step 1 - Access your list of printers

Your account will need to have the right to maintain printers.
- Log in to your BuildBee account.
- From the home page, click on your printers list or go directly here .

Step 2 - Access the maintenance console for the printer you want to update

- Click on the "MAINTENANCE" button next to the printer you wish to update.

Step 3 - Update your BuildBee CloudDock

- On the screen that appears, click on "SYSTEM INFO".

- If your BuildBee requires an update, the "UPDATE CONTROL BOX" button will appear, otherwise, you will get a message telling you that your BuildBee CloudDock is already up to date.

- If an update needs to occur, click "UPDATE CONTROL BOX" and wait for the process to finish.

You'll notice on the printer page that the printer is in the UPDATING state. This usually takes a few minutes, however, if it doesn't go back to READY in a reasonable time (>10 minutes) you may need to power cycle the CloudDock up to two times. Do this by removing the MicroUSB power cord, waiting a few seconds, and reinserting.
