Importing 3D models into BuildBee


Importing 3D models into your BuildBee account is easy. You can can also import your designs directly from TinkerCAD!

Uploading from a computer

- Select the upload 'plus' icon:

- This will take you to the plater. You can choose to upload a model as is using the direct file upload tool:


- Either click and search for the file to upload or drag and drop into the box to upload your STL files.
- You can change the name of the model and write a description for it if you wish.
- Select 'UPLOAD' to save your 3D model to your account.


Importing from TinkerCAD

- Sign in to your TinkerCAD account.
- Select the design you wish to export to BuildBee.
- Once you are happy with your design and are confident that it is 3D printable, select the 'Export' button from the top right corner of the screen:



- Select '3D Print' from the window that appears:



- Select the 'BuildBee' button from the list of choices.



- Select 'Continue to BuildBee'.



If you are not already signed in, you will be prompted to sign in to your BuildBee account.
- You can change the name of the model and write a description for it if you wish.
- Select 'IMPORT' to save your TinkerCAD design to your BuildBee account.
