DET Edge network support updates - BuildBee Support

DET Edge network support updates (can't configure, printers offline)

DET NSW are beginning to roll out a new internet service across all of their schools which changes the way devices access the internet. As a result of this change, our BuildBee CloudDock devices have been affected in the schools that have been rolled over already. We are working with the DET daily to work out a solution so that we can get those who are affected back up and running as soon as possible.

If you have been affected by this change, please submit a support request.

UPDATE: 13/12/19
  1. We've verified that Edge connected schools can connect their CloudDocks with Ethernet and the printer works successfully on Buildbee.com
  2. We have verified that after a power restart, some accounts can now connect devices to the WiFi and the printer works successfully on Buildbee.com without any need to reconfigure.
UPDATE: 20/11/19
Changes are happening to the global DETNSW authentication list.

UPDATE: 18/11/19
Discussed a solution with a senior network specialist at the DET. Awaiting confirmation about the global authentication list.

UPDATE: 12/11/19
Contacted the DET to discuss a solution.

UPDATE: 11/11/19
We were informed of the issue by one of our DET schools. After making the change, all of their BuildBee CloudDocks went offline.
